COVID support grants launched for Derby taxi drivers

One-off grant for self-employed drivers

Support for licensed hackney carriage and private minicab drivers is available as a one-off coronavirus (COVID-19) support grant of £250 available to eligible self-employed drivers.

Drivers will need to provide details of their taxi driver licence and vehicle permits (both must be with Derby City Council), amongst other supporting information.

Drivers who have previously received the grant are not eligible to apply for a second time.
